Your love is the first breath I breathe each new day that I wake.

It is the thread of my stitched heart that now belongs to you to break.

I put it in your hands with faith, knowing though you can break it, that you will not.

I trust you will keep it warm and sheltered in your love, and this is what I got.

Every day I wake beside you I know that there is a Heaven,

because beside me sleeps an angel and as I listen to her breath I am thankful for this blessing.

Your love is the sweet water that replenishes me as it quenches my deepest thirst.

It burns away the pain of my past and as ashes scatter there is no longer any hurt.

Your love is my beacon, shining way to a new horizon.

And just the thought of missing out on that leaves me feeling like I am dying.

Your love is amazing to me and I would do anything to keep it for eternity.

It is what warms my veins as I get cold, I can feel it burn though me.

I love you, unyielding, ungrudging, unselfishly, and with all my heart.

Without you I would be lost looking for the other half of my soul in the dark.

There is nothing I wouldn't do for you, right down to give my life.

And when I can make a proud husband, I will ask you to be my wife.
