Poetry Corner (An unfinished poem)

Need I explain to you all the ways that you have caused me pain?
All the uncertainty you have invoked, the madness you've released in my brain?
One moment things are fine, next thing I know the whole world feels insane!
And the entire time, time seems against me, and my struggle to change.
It feels like no matter what I do, the troubles will always remain.
I had hope while I though we were 1, but the world won, you're gone and life's not the same.
And now that you are gone the only thing I feel from life is the flame,
The heat burns through out my soul, its kiss just serves to trigger my rage.
Being with you, sheltered by your love, had kept the beast in me tamed.
Now that you walked away I feel like I've been beaten, and the beast broke it's chains.
Now somehow he's been released from his cage, and I no longer feel sane.
My life is no longer safe, I just want to run away, take a bus, sail away or just catch a plane.
Somehow I must be free, I need to escape, I just can't find the means to get away.
